End of Family Holidays

We are coming to the end of our family holiday - which really means we are coming to the end of the time when both mum AND dad are at home with the kids. The offspring still have another 2 weeks of summer holidays! SO another 2 weeks of racking my brain for things to do. I guess we'll finally have to finish the volcano we started!
Both kids have swimming lessons each day for the next 2 weeks. So again I will have to brave the German teaching methods!!! I hope this teacher knows how to use encouragement (not like the last one where I almost jumped in the pool and smacked him over the head!!!!) Hmmm - bracing myself for yet another cross cultural experience!

S9 is busy talking on the phone to her friend HH in NZ. Lovely to hear them chatting away about really weird and strange things! It is still tough for me to see the kids struggling to make friends because of the language barrier - but I guess what doesn't break you makes you stronger!! :-)) Hmmmm. I wonder if you can fracture or bruise??
