What more can you do?

With hubby and youngest daughter away for 3 weeks in NZ, it has been left to moi to occupy oldest daughter (almost 10 years old ) for the school hollidays! I have discovered that this gets waaaayyyy more complicated as they grow up!!
So we started off the holidays with a trip to the toy shop where we found this way cool slot car set for real cheap!!
We have spent time converting our old toilet paper rolls into people - can you spot Obi One Kinobe (or however you spell that!!).
We have rented DVD's, done baking, had friends over to play and for sleep overs and borrowed Tintin books from the library (Sam's favourite!!).
We also found a local Fleamarket on Saturday - Sam's favourite kind of shopping of all time! We left after 3 hours, and even then I had to drag her away with a bag full of Action Man, China dolls (x2), a stuffed dog, made from real rabbit fur and a beebee gun!!
Our car has completely died so we have had to find things we can get to by tram or bike! So we can't get to the Black Forest Rock 'n' Circus that Steiger is doing. That's a shame as we were really looking forward to going for a few days. So there have been lots of trips to the park . . and did I mention DVD's?????
Anyway - still another week to go!! Any more ideas anyone??
