Blimey it was cold in Paris!

We were so blessed to have our cool friends from NZ pay for us to go with them to Paris with them in the New Year! Thanks Mike & Susi and to the others who gave us some spending money!!! We had a great time!

Sacre Coeur
Anna's Favourite Friend

Falling into the Seine

Sam fascinated in the Louvre

We had 3 days to see the main sights! So, with the kids in tow, and with Mike, Susi, Jorgi & Pete and Andrew (Mike's bro), Victoria, Thomas and Eve, we traipsed around Paris - getting to know the Metro really well. We had an awesome time; got practically frostbitten on many days and survived the 6 hour drive there and back.

It snowed the day we left!
Arc d'e Triomphe

Notre Dame
Playing!

Champs Elysees

Working out the route

But - have you ever heard people say - "DON'T EVER TAKE A CAR INTO PARIS!" Well . . . we now know why they said that!!!! It took Mike and Bryce about 2 and a half hours to find a park when we arrived! And then there is the roundabouts . . . no lanes; no rules!!

But we had a blast! And last week we had to say goodbye to our friends. It was tough! Come back guys!!!!

Ha love it! Yes Paris is caos in a car, but it is probably the cheapest way for you all to get there. The weather looked freezing, you poor things. So pleased you had a nice time. Great photos too.
